German authorities
have confirmed the Paris Police Station knife attacker as a terror suspect. The
suspected Tunisian national, according to German Police had already been put on
watch as potential terrorist after he posed for photographs at a German asylum
centre with the black flag of Isis. Subject
lived in a centre for asylum seekers in the west of Germany where he portrayed very
suspicious approach of taking up different identities as he made asylum claims
in Germany. The suspect, who has been identified as Tarek Belgacem, was discovered
to have disguised under three different identities at different times during
his stay in a centre for asylum seekers in the west of Germany before moving to
France. Belgacem was shot dead after he launched a knife attack on a Paris
police station shouting “Allahu Akbar” on the anniversary of the Charlie Hebdo
attacks.
