Ousted Eyptian President Mohamed Morsi, sentenced to death

The former Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi has been handed down a death sentence by an Egyptian court. According to the judge, the sentence was in relation to series of mass prison breaks which took place in 2011.

Morsi was among more than 100 defendants being given the same sentence. However, the sentence can be appealed and still needs to pass a procedure which includes going through the government’s Islamic law interpreter (Grand Mufti) for final recommendation or opinion. The court has slated its final decision  for June 21st. Morsi was elected into power in June 2012 and barely stayed a year before being ousted in July 2013 by the army following wide spread demonstrations.

Forgive me

I am so very sorry for leaving you my dear friends in the dark for a very long time.
forgive me
I felt like strategizing and making more meaning out of our blogging and reading experience. Since the change is sweeping all over, i have also been caught up in the bug. Please forgive my absence. I hope to add more value and life to the blog from now. Meanwhile, let us just continue and make up for the lost time, while thanking God for keeping us alive.
