IT HAPPENED AGAIN - BOMB BLAST

Another bomb blast in Abuja? This time, I felt the tremor from where I was in Asokoro. I heard a big bang and a tremor. I knew it was an explosion, but never suspected it was for destruction of lives and property. (I said to myself)The frequent constructions around the town could warrant any construction company to use explosives on their site, secondly, there is no government occasion being held around which could be target of bombers. The only occasion I knew happening at that particular moment was the birthday ceremony of  Cardinal Okojie, which is in Lagos (I was watching it on TV).  Within minutes, we could see thick smoke and I knew it was more than a construction company’s blast.
Yet I could not go anywhere because during incidents like this, a second one might happen and you might never know from where. Then came the news flash; Breaking news..  BOMB BLAST AT FORCE HEADQUARTERS CAR PACK. I knew it has happened again.
Am even hearing it might be from a suicide bomber. Nigerians, we are graduating to worse.

One Good news - Gabrielle Giffords recovery

Today, I was very happy when I learnt that the US congresswoman shot in the head in January has been released from hospital to begin outpatient treatment after improvements in her condition.
According to the news, Gabrielle Giffords is to move to the Texas home of her husband, astronaut Mark Kelly, from where she will be attending visiting hospital.
I was thinking of sharing this good news and also wondered how callous people could be to their fellow citizens without provocation. This is with emphasis to the part played by Jared Loughner in the shooting of this innocent woman.
Hardly did I know there was a bigger Jared Loughner and a small Osama Bin Laden in the offing within some seconds near me.

Nothing

I have been absent for too long now. I have not explanation for this.

The bad habit of changing focus comes ones in a while but am trying my best to stop that. However, very soon, everyone will get to know why I have kept silence for too long. I will try to come back here to write something later in the day. Take care all.

EMERGENCE OF VIRTUAL ASSISTANCE:

Within the last ten years, small and medium scale companies are the most talked-about venture in company discussions around the globe. Its popularity also attained best moment during the global economic down-turn which saw many individuals eased out of their means of livelihood by companies.
In order to make ends meet, laid-off individuals developed small service companies where services could be rendered with a relatively lesser charge.
For survival and profit optimization also,
jobs such as programming, secretarial duties, legal duties, advertising, administrative duties etc are nowadays outsourced to persons who are paid on per job basis as against monthly payment; which is more economical to the medium scale entrepreneur and favourable to the service provider.
Virtual Assistance although not practiced only as an alternative for out of work persons, it can also be adopted by persons who do not want to work for any company or body (freelancers). It is a profession which can be said to have emerged out of necessity to meet the two stated needs viz: Provision of professional skill at lower rate and the need to maximize profit by small and medium scale industries.
