Hillary
Clinton has made
history as the first woman to be chosen to run for the office of the President by
a major party in the United States. In her emotion laden acceptance speech in Philadelphia
last night, she expressed happiness, saying "Today, we've reached a
milestone in our nation's march toward a more perfect union: The first time
that a major party has nominated a woman for President," continuing, "Standing here as my mother's daughter's,
and my daughter's mother, I'm so happy this day has come."
