ELIMINATING CHAPPED LIPS

Chapped lips are splinters and breakage of the lips as a result of extreme dehydration of its surface.  Factors contributing to chapped lips include weather condition (eg hot and dry climate), habits like smoking and continuous licking of the lips. Some deficiencies in essential vitamins can also be a contributing factor to chapped lips. Effects of chapped lips include but not limited to painful sore, blisters on the lips, untidy looking lips and of course low confidence. First step in treating chapped lips is the use of a lip mosturiser to soften the lips. This step is very vital as it aids to soften the rough portions of the lips. Softening the lips will ease exfoliating the dead skin later on. The period of mosturising would range from 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on the severity of the skin. Mosturising will assist removal of the outer layer without disfiguring the already irritated skin tissues.

To exfoliate the mosturised lips, one needs a very soft brush which should not be rough on the lips to gently brush the surface. This allows for easy replacement of the chapped dead cells revealing the smooth tender underlay.

The lips need always to be moisturized to maintain its radiance.

Mosturising of the lips with lip balm or gloss should be a round-the year activity and not for a particular season alone. A healthy looking lips makes a good impression of its owner.

Mr Ouattara, Officially recognized President 

Hello guys, hope you’ve heard the latest in Ivory Coast. As we can see, the crisis in Ivory Coast is gradually coming to an end. The searchlight is now focused on the task of reconciling the divided West African nation. The officially recognized President, Alassane Ouattara announced “legal proceedings” were under way against Mr Gbagbo, his wife and political allies.

Mr Ouattara dismissed calls for Mr Gbagbo’s extradition to face International Court of Justice in the Hague, and asserted that “all measures” were being taken to protect him after his dramatic capture.

According to emerging details on Tuesday about how Mr Gbagbo was captured and the moments after he was brought out of his bunker. A soldier with Mr Ouattara’s forces said Mr Gbagbo was “trembling and sweating” as he was bundled into an armoured car wearing a bullet-proof vest for his own protection.

“When forces got into the bunker, they found Gbagbo behind his desk, and the first thing he said was 'Don’t kill me’,” he said. The guy sure likes life, but his troops has in the past days caused much harm and loss of lives to humanity.

Please somebody help, am becoming lazy!

My people, I promised earlier this year to keep everyone abreast of the events happening around me, my computer, my country and my friends. Imagine, all the my “possessive” promises never came to fulfillment. This is very bad; I hope you guys can understand with me. I was busy, trying to listen to other people’s promises in their election campaign and forgot that yours humbly also promised some people something. I don’t want to bother you with the kind of promises I heard during campaigns, I guess you all know what can be heard on campaign rallies. Well, I will pray with all the grace that Lenten season gives to always keep to my promise. How can I be here and not let you know that there was bomb blast in Suleja, Niger State a night before the National Assembly elections, secondly I could not even mention the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the successful election which everyone in the country has been commending, you see, I am not sounding patriotic at all, however, I hope to change very soon. I believe I need to create more time for this our gisting platform so that we all will be happy and well informed.

YURI WAS THE FIRST PERFECT TWITTER.

April 12 marked 50 years since Russian air force pilot Yuri Gagarin became the first human being to enter space, a giant leap forward for the Soviet Union that drove America's race to the moon. 

To commemorate this event, a film was produced in collaboration with the European Space Agency and the astronauts on board the International Space Station. It captures the magnificence of Gagarin’s original orbit with breath-taking high-definition views of the Earth from above. It matches the orbital path of the International Space Station as closely as possible to that of Gagarin's original route, allowing viewers to see incredible vistas of the Earth through the Space Station’s new giant cupola window.

However, as the film was being edited, the director Chris Riley observed that Gagarin's short bursts of communication from the cockpit were very much similar to modern Twitter chatter. In addition to being the first man in space, Riley called him the first man on Twitter.

According to him, “It’s clear Yuri spoke in 'tweets’ -- as communications to the mission controllers were always brief and to the point," he said. " Today a text-based tweet is composed of up to no more than 140 characters, so in essence Yuri was the first perfect twitter".

Nigeria Election

What would I say; it just happened like a film. We learnt of it through whispers in the polling booth, then later, I hooked up to twitter and got the confirmation.

Thank God the election was not fixed for April the first, it would have been the most expensive April's fool ever recorded in history. But we got to learn that it was postponed because of late arrivals of materials in some centres. I really really hope and wish that the next date would come to pass. Nigeria needs everybody's prayers to stand firm.

Every part of your body is made up of cells.
