Information revealed that 2 Nigerians were among the 4 drug offenders
executed by the Indonesian government on 29th July 2016. According
to the CNN, the Indonesian authorities executed four convicted drug offenders, which
comprised 2 Nigerians, a Senegalese and an Indonesian. Although there has been
serious pressure from all over the world including Amnesty International for
the Indonesian President, Joko Widodo to commute the sentence of the drug
peddlers, it was further revealed that more executions have been fixed in the
nearest days to come.
