Over the weekend, report of a massive supercar crash in Japan resulted in what may be the most expensive car crash in recent times. Chugoku Expressway, where the crash occurred is a winding toll road that connects Honshu to Fukouka. The drivers have been described as probably heading from Kyushu to Hiroshima for a Supercar meet in that city.
When authorities arrived at the scene of accident along the Chugoku Expressway in the southern part of the Yamaguchi Prefecture near Shimonoseki, they found a mess of exotics tangled up with a few non-exotics, including a curious Toyota Prius.
A witnessed told the TBS network the cars were going "140-160 kilometers per hour" or approximately 85-to-100 mph and the weather was probably wet.
At the end, 10 people -- five men and five women -- sustained slight injuries,14 exotic cars including eight Ferraris, a Lamborghini, two Mercedes-Benz and two Japanese cars.worth about $4m were damaged
